About

9ct gold and morganite Celtic ringSeadrake Creations began in 2011 – I wanted an extra creative outlet where I could draw from history and nature to create beautiful pieces of jewelry. Most of my inspiration comes from historical portraits, archaeology and of course, nature. Medieval jewelry is a particular focus for much of my work, having completed a Master’s course in Medieval Archaeology from the University of York. I have also done some Tudor, Viking, Saxon and even a few ‘modern’ pieces.

I love making rings, earrings, necklaces, brooches, bracelets, any any other new and interesting challenges that come my way. I take special commissions often and am always updating my workshop with new (and sometimes old refurbished) tools.

Making things is a passion and making beautiful jewelry is something that keeps life just a bit more exciting. With history, archaeology and folklore (think Lord of the Rings) always inspiring, there is always something new (or historic!) to view in the gallery. Enjoy reading and thank you for following!

Don’t throw in the towel with your blog set-up yet!! I was up to my eyeballs in code with mine (migrated it this weekend) and I hear ya! 😦 For what it’s worth, you’ve got a lovely blog that’s clean, non-distracting and easy to navigate so I hope you keep going with it!
